easyFairs is currently looking for an intelligent and capable organiser to help grow its business in Europe. The European Business Development Coordinator is primarily to coordinate the launching of new trade show concepts and projects across Europe.
Responsibilities include: • Daily progress reporting and general assistance to the Vice President Product Development
• Supply new show topics and opportunities to easyFairs offices in 15 European countries
• Ensure pace and coherence of show launches are in line with company objectives
• Preparation and follow-up of business development meetings in Brussels HQ and at easyFairs offices
• Manage and maintain a central information and documentation point on existing and new trade shows and markets
• Promote best practices and provide project management tools to business development staff across Europe
To succeed in this position, you will need: • 3 to 5 years experience in marketing, product management, product research or similar disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (with different levels of management)
• A strong, assertive personality but also diplomacy and negotiation skills
• A structured & analytical mind
• Flexibility and ability to multitask
• Spoken and written fluency in English, (other languages, particularly French, and Flemish/Dutch are an advantage)
• Other languages an asset
• Knowledge of trade exhibitions and/or some experience in an industrial B2B environment (not essential but a real plus)
