Van Os loves the sun![]() Since end of September, furniture company Van Os-Sonnevelt in Londerzeel uses green, renewable energy coming from a photovoltaic installation on the rooftops of the warehouse.
In the last part of September, City Energy, a specialized company from Londerzeel, installed 246 photovoltaic panels on the roofs of the Van Os-Sonnevelt warehouse. The installation will annually produce about 50,000 kilowatthours of green energy, largely sufficient to meet the company’s own energy needs and even enough to return a nice serving of green electricity back to the grid. The investment was fully operational by the end of September and adds significantly to the sustainability of Van Os-Sonnevelt’s operations and activities.
